Adidas Supernova Racer Bra

This bra fits well, provides good high-impact support and doesn’t ride up during runs, but, unlike the Moving Comfort Vero, sizing is done through s-xl, which can present a support vs. fit issue with the cups. |

Fit
If you’re moving from compression to combination support, it can be a new and welcome experience. The first difference I noticed was having to organize myself once I got the bra on. The adidas Supernova Racer Bra is another pull-over model, and I needed to do a quick bend over and wiggle to make sure all was where it was meant to be. But, once I did, the fit was comfortable (even though—personal note alert!—I didn’t quite fill up the cups).
Comfort
The wide shoulder straps stayed put without getting clammy, thanks to the breathable mesh fabric. There is also mesh detailing on the back, plus this model features a criss-cross, keyhole design for a good support with less fabric.
The structure of this bra, as compared to some of the others, requires it to have more seams for enhanced support, but all were flatlock or reverse. On ‘normal’ five-mile runs, I had no chafing. But when I was out for a couple of hours, with a pack, I did get some hot spots. The chest strap fit tight, but not uncomfortably so.
Care
Care instructions say that machine washing and drying is fine, but I found the front padding maintains its shape better, when I hung it to dry.
How We Tested It
I wore this for three road runs and three trail runs for a total of about 30 miles.
