Helix Basecamp Bluetooth

There are a lot of lanterns debuting at Outdoor Retailer this year, but Princeton Tec's new Helix Bluetooth model just might be the best. It features foldable legs to help raise it off the ground, and a collapsible display that makes it easy to stuff in your pack when you return to the trail. It's simple twist-dial controls are a throwback to lanterns of old, although the entire thing can be also controlled via an app on your smartphone. The warm LED lighting system includes an automatic sleep feature, and while the Helix comes equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery, it can also function on AA batteries as a back up too. There is even a USB port for charging your devices as well. Burn time is reportedly 22 hours with an output of 250 lumens.
