About Tom Poole

Tom developed his running shoe expertise as an outpatient physical therapist in central Vermont. He treats a variety of running and orthopedic injuries, and recommends, fits and places clients in shoes to return them to the sport.

Tom studied physical therapy at Ithaca College, where he was commodore of his varsity rowing team. He then continued on to graduate school in Rochester NY completing his doctoral degree in PT.

When not in the clinic he and his wife plan vacations around marathons. Tom’s passion is road running anywhere from 5k to marathon distances. He trends towards neutral trainers, is 6’0”, weighs 165 and cruises at 7’55” paces.

In his spare time Tom brews his own beer.
