Jeff Burke

Jeff writes about adventure, sports, skiing, climbing, outdoor gear, trends, breaking news, people, places and lifestyles. He has written for Skiing, Outside, Climbing, Backcountry, Backpacker, Nat'l Geo Adventure, Alpinist, Mountain Sports and Living, Jackson Hole Magazine, UFC magazine, Jackson Hole Skier, Jackson Hole Mountain Country, as well as local and regional newspapers. Additionally, he has written copy and press releases for Outdoor manufacturers such as Cloudveil, Rottefella, BCA, The Merino Company, as well as providing copy or editing for private clients. He is currently Editor-at-large for Backcountry.

Jeff's knowledge of skiing, and backcountry travel and rescue is authenticated by several years of ski touring experience, as well as working winters for the Jackson Hole Ski Patrol, and as a burgeoning instructor for the American Avalanche Institute.
